Terms and Conditions apply

So, its easter, and in true consumer tradition, we decided to spend Saturday wandering around the shops. We discovered Homebase, which is a massive DIY/Gardening/everything store.

They had loads of sales on, and all sorts of specials.

I always thought I’d buy a Pressure washer, and be excited to get home to clean the car with it. But instead, I ended up scrubbing the decking for most of Sunday with it. *sigh* I feel so domesticated.

But just as we were leaving, I saw this little shed outside the store. Now I don’t need a shed, since we already have one. But I would like to know how something can be available, but only maybe.

Available now
This shed is available to take away today. Subject to Availability.

  1. Well I suppose if they are out of stock you can’t have it. We were looking at a Graco travel system in babies r us the other day, tested it, played with it. were happy to get it as it was ‘Available to take away’ but alas, after going through all the spiel with the sales agent it was out of stock. Not just in that store but in ever toysrus in northern england. Loads in stock in London, where we had left just the day before.
