Zombies, or something…

I’m not quite sure what to think of this one, so I’ll let you decide for yourself.
One of the stranger music videos I’ve seen in a while…

Jawug’s first Promo Video

A while back I mentioned that I was involved in the founding of Jawug, which has now grown into Wug.
Sadly, I left South Africa just before things started to get interesting.
Well, Ryder has put together a little video, with some of the choice pictures from the last few years of Jawug.

What are we going to do with all the Pictures?

I know I’ve taken loads of pictures over the past few years.
Pictures of all sorts of places, all of different resolutions. Some taken during the day, some at night.
I have a digital picture collection that has pictures from about 6 different cameras (and thats excluded all the not-so-great pictures that were taken with Camera Phones)

The question is, what am I supposed to do with all the pictures?
I’ve had a load of them printed by MyPhotoAlbum and I’ve got a few DVD’s full of pictures, and I’ve got about 3GB of pictures on my laptop as we speak.
I was considering uploading them to Flickr, but whats the point? 99% of them wouldn’t interest anyone.

But, as usual, some very clever people have come up with a few very clever things to do with the worlds photo collections

Why do I always feel guilty after renting a movie?

I rented a few movies from the local Xtra-vision for the weekend.

So we get all cozy on the couch, with a pizza and some popcorn.
First, we get the 2 minutes of Disclaimers and Copyright notices, in 23 different languages. And then a notice from the FBI, in a few hundred other languages.
Then we’re forced to sit through a “Downloading-a-movie-is-like-stealing-a-car” clip, which you cannot fast forward, skip or even pause.

Why must I watch this? I rented the movie. I paid for it. Why must I be forced to sit and watch something that doesn’t apply to me?
How dare they dictate what I can and cannot do in my own home, on my DVD player.
